Stellar Energy recipient of Sterling Manufacturing Business Excellence Award

Stellar Energy was named recipient of the Sterling Manufacturing Business Excellence Bronze Award by the Florida Sterling Council and FloridaMakes. The announcement was made during the first segment of the 2021 MakeMore Manufacturing Summit, a leadership-focused initiative designed to elevate the state’s manufacturing industry and demonstrate its impact on the economy. As one of 140 nominations statewide, Stellar Energy placed in the top 18 of finalists.

Award nominees were evaluated on nationally-recognized Sterling/Baldridge Criteria for Performance Excellence, which includes categories such as leadership, strategy, customers, analysis, workforce, operations and results. The award process aims to help manufacturing companies improve leadership and management systems and realize greater performance and enduring business success.

“Winning this award is a tribute to Stellar Energy’s emphasis on quality and continuous improvement,” stated Chief of Staff and Legal Affairs Amber Shaver. “The commitment of our employees is what will propel us to achieve operational excellence as we grow and expand into new markets.”

This year’s virtual event – led by FloridaMakes in partnership with the Associated Industries of Florida, CareerSource Florida, Enterprise Florida, Inc. and the Florida Chamber of Commerce – takes place over four dates in June, July, August and October, and focuses on four key themes: Business Growth, Talent Development, Technology, and Business Climate.
